2009
Utility Funding
Utility Funding Limited founded. Family owned business focused on meter asset provision to non-domestic energy suppliers.
2013
Domestic Rollout Programme
Utility Funding Limited commenced first domestic rollout programme with First Utility. 11,000 smart type meters alongside rental contracts with 30 energy suppliers.
2016
Foresight Metering
Utility Funding Limited acquired by Foresight Group with operating company name change to Foresight Metering Management Limited. Full integration of the team and significant focus on growing the domestic meter portfolio.
2017
SMETS1 Meter Roll-out
SMETS1 Roll-out programmes underway, resulting in ~11 million out of 54 million meters installed to date across the market.
2019
Horizon Energy Infrastructure
Commencement of SMETS2 meter roll-out across the UK with HEI securing multiple installation programmes.
Nov 2019
Horizon Energy Infrastructure acquired by Arcus Infrastructure Partners
HEI acquired by Arcus Infrastructure Partners, to support our deployment of SMETS2 meters and transition into adjacent technologies.
